Larysa Battaglia has over 20 years of experience in teaching piano, providing a solid foundation in theory and performance for young learners from the very beginning to older learners who have previous exposure. Prior to arriving in Oklahoma, she taught piano in Bahrain, where her focus was on preparing students for the British Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music examinations. Larysa has also taught piano in Saudi Arabia and Ukraine, where she provided individualized instruction. Originally from Ukraine, she gained her Specialist Diploma in Piano from the Musical National College of Kryvyi Rih and is a member of the Oklahoma Music Teachers Association. Students have the opportunity to participate in an annual concert at Edmond Music’s recital space in addition to preparation for local and regional competitions. Classes are available in her studio in North Edmond from her antique Packard Baby Grand, or by individual arrangement.
